NYC has seen a tremendous spike of illegal fireworks being set off. The fireworks “shows” are now nightly through all five boroughs. On Motzei Shabbos the fireworks continued into Far Rockaway and the Five Towns.
This video was taken last night as fireworks were being set off in Lanett Park. The park is off of Beach 9th street in Far Rockaway and adjacent to YFR. There were many reports of fireworks heard and seen throughout the Five Towns as well.
