Suspect on the loose: Robbery in Hewlett

Fourth Squad detectives report the details of a Robbery that occurred on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at5:51 pm in Hewlett.

According to detectives,three unknown males entered KSN Discount Wine and Liquor located at 16 Franklin Avenue.  The subjects proceeded to select merchandise and leave the store without making a payment.  The male victim, 33, attempted to stop the subjects from leaving and a struggle ensued.  One of the subjects sprayed an unknown substance on the victim’s face causing pain and burning.  The subjects fled on foot.

The subjects are described as male black, approximately 20-30 years old.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding the above incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.  All callers will remain anonymous.
