Woman forced out of her car at Green Acre Mall, suspects on the loose

The robbery occurred Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 6:20 pm in Valley Stream.

According to detectives, the female victim, 49, was sitting in her 2016 Ford Explorer at 1015 Green Acres Mall in the vicinity of Macy’s.  Two (2) unknown males approached the driver’s side door, opened it and took the victim’s cellular phone.  They demanded the victim exit the vehicle and she complied.  The subjects enter the vehicle and fled westbound on Sunrise Highway.

The victim was not injured.

The subjects are described as male blacks, 6’1” tall with medium builds.  One subject was wearing a grey sweatshirt and the second subject was wearing an orange sweatshirt.
