Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Wednesday that coronavirus control measures in parts of Queens will see their restrictions eased two weeks after the measures were first put in place.

Red and orange zones in Far Rockaway will turn to yellow zones, as will orange zones in Brooklyn.

Red zones in Kew Gardens and Forest Hills will become yellow zones, the zones with the least restrictions.

A source tells TJHLIVE that some yeshivas had prior knowledge to Cuomo’s announcement today and have already been preparing to reopen for in person learning.
