Our veterans served America with honor and devotion, protecting the ideals of freedom, equality and opportunity, which uniquely makes our country the greatest nation on earth.  It is with deep respect that we come together as a community to express our immense gratitude and sincere appreciation for our great veterans.

On Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM the Village of Cedarhurst in conjunction with the Lawrence-Cedarhurst American Legion Post 339, will commemorate Veterans Day at Andrew J. Parise Park.   Social distancing will be maintained, and masks must be worn at all times.

The program will also be broadcast on Zoom.

The program will pay tribute to the Veterans of Post 339, all of the men and women now serving in the American armed forces around the globe and memorialize the members of Post 339 who passed away this year.

In case of rain the location of the ceremony will be in Village Hall, where due to the Governor’s Covid Emergency Orders, participation will be limited.

The address of Village Hall is:
200 Cedarhurst Avenue
Cedarhurst NY, 11516

Please use the rear entrance to Village Hall which is handicapped accessible.
We hope that you will be able to join us on this day.
